We would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing support and for helping us grow Mshini into, what we believe to be, South Africa’s premium Managed WordPress host.

It’s been nearly a decade since we launched managed WordPress Hosting in South Africa. We’re still that same lean, bootstrapped, startup with huge ambitions. We’ve put years of effort and experience into building Mshini from the ground up and we’re very proud of what our team has accomplished.

For those of you who’ve been with us since the early days, you would have noticed that we haven’t increased our hosting prices since our inception in late 2016. We’ve ridden the wave of soaring prices and tried our utmost to absorb these rising costs (some of which have almost doubled) in an effort to keep our hosting affordable for the average South African entrepreneur.

With Covid well behind us and the future looking bright and promising we feel that the time has come for us to apply a price increase to our Single Site Hosting plan. Doing so will allow us to maintain the prompt support you’ve come to love and rely on. We are hard at work crafting new functionality and features and our vision remains to provide you with a premium hosting experience, stellar support and the tools to help elevate your business without any of the effort.

With that in mind, as of the 1st of February 2024, our Single Site Hosting plan price will increase from R99 per month to R129 per month, and our annual hosting plan will increase from R1 089 to R1 419 per year. Customers who have previously signed up and elected to pay annually will only begin paying the increased rate when their plan renews.

The pricing of our bulk plans, email hosting plans and domain name registrations and renewals remain unchanged for now.
